SUMMARY:Mebane Christmas Parade
DESCRIPTION:The City of Mebane is pleased to present the Mebane Christmas Parade! \nThe Mebane Christmas Parade occurs annually on the first Friday in December at 7 p.m. in Downtown Mebane. \nThe parade starts at the intersection of Second Street and Clay Street. It goes down Clay Street\, turns right at Fifth Street\, and then takes an immediate right onto Center Street. The parade finishes at the Mebane Community Park. \nIt is the area’s only nighttime parade and is so much fun for the entire family. The parade has occurred for many years and features over 100 entries\, including businesses\, churches\, school groups\, etc. The parade will conclude with Santa Claus arriving in Mebane! \nIf you are interested in participating in the Mebane Christmas Parade\, you must submit a Parade Application.  Parade Applications are accepted from September 1 to November 1 each year. Parade applicants then hear back from the Parade Committee as to their approval status in mid-November. \n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \nAre you unable to attend the parade in person? Don’t fret! The City of Mebane will provide a live parade stream on the City’s YouTube channel\, so you can still join in on the fun! The live stream will feature hosts Chuck Marsh from Alamance County’s Maverick Radio and Mebane’s Public Information Officer\, Kelly Hunter.
