DESCRIPTION:Downtown Mebane Eggstravaganza and Bunny Hop \nThe City of Mebane is pleased to present the Downtown Mebane Eggstravaganza and Bunny Hop in partnership with the Downtown Mebane Development Corporation and downtown businesses. \nJoin us in downtown Mebane this spring for a fun and free children’s Easter event!  We need your help filling the windows of our participating businesses in downtown Mebane!  How can you help\, you ask?  Download the Easter egg coloring sheets or pick up a copy of the Easter egg coloring sheet from the Mebane Arts and Community Center (MACC) or the Children’s Department of the Mebane Public Library (addresses and hours of operation listed below) between March 3 – April 4.  Please have your child(ren) decorate the egg on the coloring sheet\, cut it out\, write their name on the back of the egg\, and drop off the decorated egg at the MACC or the Children’s Department of the Mebane Public Library no later than April 4th. The Easter Bunny will be hopping to participating businesses and putting the decorated eggs in the baskets in the windows of those businesses. Eggs will be on display in Downtown Mebane from  April 7 – 30.  \nNow for the fun part!  On Saturday\, April 12\, the Easter Bunny will visit Downtown Mebane at various business locations between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for photo opportunities.  Get your cell phones ready while you search for your child’s egg!
