A program for K – 5th graders. Learn about the banjo’s place in Black History, explore the lives of Mebane’s very own Black string band music legends, Joe and Odell Thompson, and make a banjo craft that really plays! This program will include live banjo performance and hands-on exploration of different types of banjos. Registration is required, and space is limited.
