Fourth of July Parade
Celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary at the Mebane Historical Museum’s Fourth of July Parade and Celebration! 🇺🇸
The festivities begin at 9 a.m. at the Mebane Historical Museum (209 W. Jackson Street). Registration for participants wishing to march in the non-motorized parade will open at that time, along with a variety of free family-friendly activities and entertainment.
Enjoy live music from the 50-piece Village Band, meet elected officials, interact with Revolutionary War reenactors, and snap photos with Brigadier General Alexander Mebane Jr., Betsy Ross, and Uncle Sam. Additional attractions include free books from the Mebane Public Library, a live actor reading of the Declaration of Independence, games, photo opportunities, and more.
The six-block Fourth of July Parade will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.
Grab your fife and drum, wear your favorite red, white, and blue attire, and join the community for a morning of patriotic fun and celebration!
🚗 Parking is available at Mebane Presbyterian Church on Fifth Street and First Baptist Church on Third Street.
