The 2026 Mebane Sports Hall of Fame Induction Gala is a special evening celebrating the rich athletic tradition and community spirit of Mebane. Hosted on June 20, 2026, at the Mebane Arts & Community Center, the gala honors outstanding athletes, coaches, and community leaders whose achievements and contributions have left a lasting impact on local sports history.

The evening will feature a meet-and-greet reception, dinner, and a keynote address by former professional basketball player and coach Sylvia Crawley-Spann, followed by the induction ceremonies for this year’s Hall of Fame and Hall of Honor recipients. Guests will gather to recognize inductees including BJ Chockley, Terrence Caldwell, Jeff Modlin, Wayne Petty, Doug Smith, Dean Ray, and John Kirby.
